2026 Annual Youth Ministry Frisbee Tournament Continues

Warm, cloudy, and a mild threat of rain for most of the day. Perfect conditions for roughly 130 high school students from ten parishes to get together and compete on two playing fields at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Alliston on Saturday, August 8th.

What began over 15 years ago as a summer "pick up" and friendly outreach experience to neighborhood teens has blossomed into an annual event bringing together parishes from across the archdiocese for a day of fun, fellowship, and competition.

Our Lady of the Lakes from Keswick joined this year and participated with the likes of St. Isaac Jogues from Pickering, St. Francis de Sales from Ajax, Holy Family parish Whitby, St. Philip Neri of Toronto and others.

This year, Nativity of Our Lord emerged as the tournament champs while Merciful Redeemer was awarded the Catholic virtues award for the team that best reflected the values and virtues embedded in a Catholic identity.
