Gospel Reflection for the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time

St. Paul boldly proclaims that we must “owe no one anything, except to love one another.” To truly love is to act as an authentic steward and will the good of the other. However, we must move from merely willing the good to actually doing the good for as St. Gregory the Great says the “proof of love is in the works.”
