Exaltation of the Holy Cross: September 14

The Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross is celebrated on September 14 to honour the Holy Cross by which Christ was crucified and redeemed the world.

We adore you,
O Christ,
and we praise you.
Because by your
Holy Cross,
you have redeemed
the world.

May I never boast of anything except the Cross of the Lord, by
which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world...
