CANADIAN MISSIONS COLLECTION

We thank all those who contributed to last weekend’s special collection towards the Canadian Missions. Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated. If you would still like to make a donation, you may do so this weekend or during the week by making a drop off at the Parish office’s mailbox. 

We would like to reiterate Bishop Kasun’s message that the proceeds of this collection are divided evenly between Catholic Missions in Canada (CMIC) and the two northern Canadian Dioceses supported by the Archdiocese of Toronto, namely, the Archdiocese of Grouard-McLennan (Grande Prairie, AB) and the Diocese of MacKenzie-Fort Smith (Yellowknife, NWT). Nearly all the funds raised each year, approximately $400,000.00 from the Archdiocese, support Indigenous parish and mission communities.  

Bishop Robert Kasun is the local coordinator for the two northern dioceses. He kindly expresses his gratitude to our congregation for our continued support and generosity.
