Archbishop Leo Visits Our Lady Queen of Poland Parish in Scarborough

In recognition and celebration of Our Lady of Częstochowa, the Most Rev. Francis Leo, Metropolitan Archbishop of Toronto recently traveled to Scarborough to celebrate Mass for the Polish community of the parish of Our Lady Queen of Poland.

In his homily, Archbishop Leo emphasized his own experience of emigration life and expressed his gratitude for maintaining the liturgy in Polish, the Polis Religious tradition and the Polish language.

Following Mass, a reception was held in the parish hall where His Grace was presented with a beautiful icon of Our Lady of Częstochowa.
