Closer Than We Think: 60 Years of Jewish-Christian Relations & their Importance to the Church

AN IN-PERSON EVENT RECOMMENDED BY THE OFFICE FOR PROMOTING CHRISTIAN UNITY AND RELIGIOUS RELATIONS WITH JUDAISM

This gathering will reflect on the Church’s relationship with the Jewish people, inspired by the Second Vatican Council’s declaration Nostra Aetate promulgated 60 years ago this year. In a workshop-style presentation, Mia Theocharis (PhD Candidate, University of St. Michael’s College) and Dr. Murray Watson (Huron University College) will explore key moments in Catholic-Jewish relations. There will also include a time for prayer and worship.

During this Holy Year of Jubilee, join as a pilgrim of hope to grow in understanding and foster dialogue between our two faith communities. Registration is optional and can be completed by emailing NDSionToronto@gmail.com with your name and the event title.
